Studding Connectors are double chamfered hex nuts and are used to join together two externally threaded parts of equal thread diameter and pitch, often two pieces of threaded rod (studding). Often referred to as Coupling Nuts. Studding connectors are manufactured from mild steel, so should be not be used in any critical applications.
