Bespoke Fasteners Manufactured to Drawing Specifications
As part of our full range of services for our customers, we can supply bespoke fasteners, to the customer’s own drawing specifications. Manufactured in the UK, all bespoke fasteners are precision engineered with full traceability and documentation supplied.
Certifications*
Alfast can supply the following certificates for each bespoke threaded fastener, manufactured to drawing specifications:-
- Certificate of Conformity
- Mill Test Certificate for the material used in the manufacture of the product
- BS EN 10204 Manufacturer’s 3.1 Inspection Certificate complete with Batch Number
Special Finishes & Coatings
In addition to supplying bespoke fasteners, we can offer a range of special finishes and coatings to be applied to the product:
- Magni 560 – high strength, high corrosion resistance
- Magni 565 – excellent bimetallic corrosion resistance
- CPT Coating Type F – zinc 5-micron clear passivation
- Powder-coating in RAL colours
All finishes and coatings are RoHS, WEEE, ELV and REACH compliant.
Special Materials
Bespoke fasteners that require to be made in special materials can also be supplied to the customer’s drawing specifications.
Non-Destructive Testing**
Alfast can also offer Non-Destructive Testing that tests the manufactured product to make sure it meets the specification stated in other certificates.
Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) encompasses a wide group of analysis techniques used to evaluate the properties of a material, component or structure, without causing any damage or alteration of its integrity. It is essential for quality control, maintenance, and regulatory compliance across high-risk sectors. The parts are not destroyed during the inspection process, allowing the production samples to be preserved.
